We will look at why anger exists, what can trigger it, and what’s happening inside your child’s body when emotions begin to escalate. Understanding this can help you respond with greater empathy and confidence in challenging moments.

Explain the 'Fight or Flight' defence mechanism
Define Primary and Secondary anger
By the end of the session, you will:
Have a greater understanding of what is happening inside the body when we get angry.
Recognise the difference between primary and secondary anger in your child.
Understand and begin to apply the concept of Red and Green Path thinking to support emotional regulation at home.
