This session explores the importance of a good night’s sleep and how it impacts your child’s wellbeing. 

We will look at common sleep difficulties, including a range of sleep disorders, as well as the psychological and physical factors that can make it harder for children to settle and stay asleep.



This session aims to:

  • Explain the importance and process of sleep.

  • Define a range of sleep disorder

  • Give a range of common barriers to getting a good night's sleep


By the end of the session, you will:

  • Recognise what makes a healthy and supportive sleep environment.

  • Be able to identify common barriers to sleep.

  • Know how to take practical steps to reduce those barriers and support better sleep.
